Life
on the Farm!
| We are very
busy at our farm in Fayette. "Farmer Joe" and his
brother Arthur are partners in the Christmas Tree Farm with over
15 acres planted in Christmas Trees. Each year between
Thanksgiving and Christmas we open our doors to families who
want to join in the fun and enjoy the age-old family tradition
of choosing and cutting their own Christmas Tree. The Tree Farm
and Gift Shop are open seven days a week and we serve hot
coffee, mulled
cider, hot chocolate and
warm cookies every day
to our visitors. |

| Our business has grown
so much that we are now in the process of building a new
combination garage, workshop and greenhouse. We’re hoping for
completion by the fall of 2001. |

When we’re not
tending Christmas Trees or working on new construction, we enjoy
planting perennial and annual flowers, herbs and growing fresh
vegetables. It’s a lot of work but the beauty of the flowers
and the taste of homegrown vegetables is well worth the effort! |

Raspberries,
Raspberries, Raspberries! We are in the planting
stages of a pick your own raspberry field. Once the small plants
are in the ground it takes about three years for them to reach
maturity and bear fruit. This is an on-going project but we hope
to have the field completely planted by the fall of 2002. By the
summer of 2005 we should be enjoying and selling raspberries by
the bucket full!

And who could forget the
family dog! Danielle, commonly referred to as Dani or Piglet, is
our seven year-old Cocker Spaniel. She’s not much help around
the farm but she loves to watch us work! |
